You look absolutely stunning, and rather like Lady Edith's first cousin at the very least.
ReplyDeleteLynne, Thanks.
DeleteMarvelous my dear you hit the nail on the head with this one.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteLove the dress and the fascinator. I have that exact Adrianna Papell dress. Believe it or not, I found it in a Goodwill store with the tags still on; priced at $10.00. Its in pristine condition.
ReplyDeleteI love that you share with us how to style hats. I really wish hats were really in vogue again on a daily basis.
Lisa, I found mine at the local secondhand shop. I think it is because the dress is not forgiving - any little bump shows.
DeleteHow fun! You look lovely:) I've been waiting for the DVD to watch the UK version. Should be coming soon:)
ReplyDeleteJoanna, thanks.
DeleteYou look exactly like a Bright Young Thing. :) Stunning!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteWhat a glorious outfit, and a beautiful understated fascinator. Hope it was a fun party!
ReplyDeleteThank you - it was!
DeleteYou look wonderful, Kathleen - such a splendid fascinator, and lovely dress. Thanks for sharing it with Visible Monday.

ReplyDeletePaula, thank you.
DeleteYes, you look like you'd fit right in with the Crawleys. I want to look at your Downton Abbey hats posts, but we only just started Season 3 here and I wouldn't want to get any clues of what's in store (Episode 2 tonight!).
ReplyDeleteI didn't put in any spoilers. I will say that the hats get better towards the end of the season. ESPECIALLY the last episode!
DeleteYou look soooooooooo fabulous, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
ReplyDeleteXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXxx

Jamie, Thank you!
DeleteClearly, you went as the prettiest sister! You know your period style, and the dress looks made for you!
ReplyDeleteJan, thanks! It is a happy coincidence that all the things I like seem to go together naturally in this outfit.
DeleteHow was the party??? I love Downton Abbey. By the way, on Monday I am attending the exhibit on hats at the Peabody Essex. I know you saw it and enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteEmily at alovelyinconsequence.blogspot
Emily, You will have a good time! I enjoyed the straw hat display. Check out the hats for sale in the gift shop, too! Marie Galvin is a local milliner in Boston, she does the most wonderful things with bright color.
DeleteGorgeous! You would fit right in at Downton Abbey. It must have been an enjoyable evening.
ReplyDeleteI'm also greatly admiring your hand mirror and your beautiful vanity.
Melanie, thank you! I am so happy with my new furniture.
DeleteOh Kathleen, you look so exquisitely lovely! That feathered fascinator is a thing of timeless beauty indeed - and so, so perfect for a DA party!
ReplyDelete♥ Jessica
