What Vintage Hat to Wear to a Christmas Party

I flipped the brim of my hat up in a Breton-inspired style to show off the bow.

 Once again, the Junior League of Troy 'adopted' the girls of Polly's cottage at Vanderheyden Hall for Christmas. We gathered the girls' Christmas lists, bought and wrapped presents and delivered them to the girls at their annual Christmas party. 

The ladies of the Junior League of Troy gathered to wrap gifts for the young ladies of Polly's Cottage at our annual Christmas Party earlier in December.

The young ladies made us cookies in a jar as a thank you gift. I wish I could show you photos of these young ladies. They were all smiles and excited screams as they opened their presents. One even exclaimed that it was, "the best Christmas ever." 

After all the gifts had been tucked away in their rooms, one of the girls came back and told us she wanted to sing for us. She sang a song dedicated to the children killed in Newtown, CT. 

It was a poignant moment.

Polly joined her fellow members of the Junior League of Troy in giving gifts to children at the Polly's Cottage Christmas party at Vanderheyden Hall.
